Bernie Stevens

CEO

Mr. Stevens serves as President/CEO of PowerNet Global, parent company of Buzz360. He has over 17 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. After deregulation, he recognized the opportunity to resell long distance and founded PowerNet Global Communications in 1992. Subsequent to attending Kent State University, Mr. Stevens served as president and general manager for an electronics distribution company, as well as general and sales manager for various consumer electronics companies. He has a wide range of experience including turnaround and sales management.

In 2004, Mr. Stevens was awarded the annual Deal Maker/Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). This award is presented by the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth to recognize the significant achievements of local companies, entrepreneurs and financiers, who participate in merger and acquisition activity in Greater Cincinnati. Mr. Stevens and his wife Bobbie are actively involved in their local church and various charitable foundations, and together they serve on the Board of Directors for Waumba Camp Ministry.

Basil Kanno

President

Mr. Kanno serves as President of Buzz360. He has over 16 years of comprehensive information systems experience with expertise across a wide range of systems and applications. At Buzz360, he is responsible for establishing the vision and direction of the division. Prior to joining the company in 1999, he was a Senior Consultant with Ernst & Young as part of their telecommunications practice. Prior to that, Mr. Kanno worked at EXL Information Corp., where he managed strategic systems development for their flagship telecommunications billing product.

Mr. Kanno earned his Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Fred Kopplow

Sr. Director Sales and Marketing

Fred Kopplow is a mobile media and marketing thought leader. Mr. Kopplow's strategic vision and innovation has established him as an industry pioneer. He led the creation and deployment of numerous innovative mobile strategies. These campaigns are well known for jump-starting the awareness and usage of text messaging in North America. Mr. Kopplow plays a key role in developing, implementing and sustaining Buzz360's growth strategy. His over 20 years of senior management experience spanning sales, business development, marketing, product development and operations management, make him the perfect accent to the Buzz360's management team.

Before joining Buzz360, Mr. Kopplow served as Executive Director Media & Entertainment for Air2Web Corporation. While there, he led the strategy for the development and build out of Media & Entertainment, CPG and Retail verticals for all Mobile Marketing initiatives. Fred developed programs that included mobile premium content worldwide, application development and content creation across Advertising agencies, Brands, Marketing & PR firms. He also established and managed several well-known Fortune 500 accounts including Draft Worldwide, Leo Burnett, ARC, Empower Media Marketing, Bridge Worldwide, Digitas, Discover Card Financial Services, Tribune Company Publishing, AKOO, Procter & Gamble, GamesStop Corp., Trump, Ralph Lauren, Sears.

Prior to Air-2-Web, Mr. Kopplow served as Senior Marketing / Business Development Analyst at The Tribune Company. His responsibilities included leading the creation and execution of innovative new media strategies, developing and extending content and branded IP rights and instituting Publishing, Licensing, Internet, and Wireless (Mobile) media distribution. Mr. Kopplow was also instrumental in establishing and building integrated programs with the world's most visible Media companies, Brands and Entertainment entities. i.e. Hasbro, Fox, The Food Network, Random House, AOL, Hewlet Packard, Microsoft, Ivillage.com, Mattel, Activision,Verizon, AT&T, and Motorola.
